    • The true origin of Panettone is disputed among the many legends that tell the story of its birth. One of the most famous recounts a providential mistake: it is said that Ludovico il Moro's cook, on Christmas Day, forgot the cake in the oven and ended up burning it. So, the kitchen boy named Toni improvised with what he found in the kitchen: water, flour, eggs, butter... They liked the experiment so much that they wanted to name it after its inventor, Pan del Toni (Toni's Bread).

      Our Panettoni are made with sourdough and selected ingredients, without the use of pre-made mixes and icing. Unlike those of the legendary Toni, however, our Panettoni require a long leavening and patient preparations, because what we want to offer you is a soft, intensely scented, and irresistible sweet bread that we are sure you'll want to enjoy even after the holidays.

      Our Savory Panettone with Parmigiano Reggiano is excellent on its own, but it turns into the perfect base to create a rich and imaginative gastronomic panettone with cold cuts, cheeses, and all your favorite fillings: simply slice it (first horizontally to create regular disks, then vertically) and serve it, perhaps accompanied by a glass of Prosecco.
      The absolute protagonist for buffets, aperitifs and appetizers, our savory Panettone gladly takes on the role of main dish on the table, from January to December, at any time of the week, perhaps slightly warmed to enhance its fragrance and the softness of the dough.

      Only before consumption, it is suggested to let it rest in a warm environment or near a heat source in order to enhance the softness and fragrance of the dough.
